Terms & Conditions
In these conditions the following terms shall have the following meaning: "The Company" means D. GIANNOPOULOU & CO.. "Customer" means the customer of the company. "Contract" means any contract for the sale of goods by The Company to the Customer.
Payments will be pre-authorised at the time of placing an order. No goods shall be supplied without payment. Payment will be taken from your chosen payment method within 30 days of placing your order as the authorization will lapse. We would much prefer to not charge your card until your order is ready to be shipped, and that is the best practice and what we as a company strive for.
We use PayPal's secure payment gateway; they handle the transaction on our behalf and as such we do not at any time gain access to your full payment method details, except your address which is necessary in order for us to fulfil your order.
The PRE-ORDER designated products are expected to be COMING SOON.
Should you wish to pre-order them, you can ADD THEM TO CART and go to checkout to pay. When the product is available to our store it will be shipped to you immediately.
If the product/size/colour variation is not delivered to our warehouse, due to unexpected reasons, or is delayed, you can cancel your order anytime PRIOR to shipping and be fully refunded.
When we have the items of your order in stock it is dispatched quickly. In GREECE we use Geniki Tachidromiki courier, for exports we use a corresponding courier unless instructed otherwise. We send you an email when your order has been dispatched.
- Greek customers - Orders should be with you within 1 - 3 working days after dispatch.
- European customers - Orders should be with you within 3 – 6 working days after dispatch.
- Rest of World customers - Orders should be with you within 5 - 17 working days after dispatch.
You may be responsible for import duties and taxes on your international order. In addition, some orders may experience customs delays. Unfortunately, we have no control over these charges or delays and cannot predict what they may be. We suggest that you contact your local customs office for additional information.
Items ordered that are in stock should be dispatched within 24 hours of the order being placed. If, for any reason, the ordered item is not in stock, your order will be cancelled.
Claims arising from damage, delay or partial loss of the goods in transit must be made in writing to D. Giannopoulou & Co. within seven working days of delivery. D. Giannopoulou & Co. shall be afforded reasonable opportunity to investigate any claim made hereunder, and the Customer shall, if so requested in writing or verbally by D. Giannopoulou & Co, promptly return any of the goods subject to any claim and any packing materials securely packaged to D. Giannopoulou & Co. for examination.
If the Customer establishes that any of the goods have not been delivered, or have been delivered damaged, or are not of the correct quantity, D. Giannopoulou & Co. shall at its option, replace them with similar goods, or allow the Customer credit for their invoice value.
If the Customer establishes that any of the goods are defective D. Giannopoulou & Co. shall at its option, replace them with similar goods or allow the Customer credit for their invoice value.
In no circumstances shall the liability of D. Giannopoulou & Co. to the Customer under this condition exceed the invoice value of the goods.
You have the right to cancel your order and be refunded only before the shipping stage. At D. Giannopoulou & Co. , although we don't offer a refund option, we offer a 14 day returns policy from the date of receiving the goods. In this instance, the customer has the right to request a product exhange OR be credited for the invoice value of the returned products. This credit expires after 6 months. All returns exclude postage costs, including the case where ''free shipping'' is applied as a promotional service - where the cost of shipping will be held from all refunds, unless a mistake has been made by us.
You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.
If you are shipping an item back you should ALWAYS consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
You are responsible for being present to receive your shipment.
If several delivery attempts are made and you are absent, the item will be returned back to us, in which case you not be refunded for the shipping cost.
We are committed to protecting your privacy. We do not sell or rent the information you provide us to anyone.
D. Giannopoulou & Co. reserve the right to alter specifications to those stated on the website, including slight differences in colour, shade and size. The Customer's statutory rights will not be affected.X
